How do I select the right size?

Desks and tables come in a standard size of 29 1/2”, so you just need to order the LEVIT8 that fits your height. We recommend the S model (8.8”) if you are under 5’5”, the M model (10.2”) for 5’5” to 5’9”, and the L model (13.1”) for over 5’9”. You can also stack books at 8.8”, 10.2”, and 13.1” and set your computer on top to see what it feels like to work with each LEVIT8. At the end of our Kickstarter campaign at start of December, you can indicate the height you want in our backer survey. Last updated: Wed, Nov 4 2015 12:01 pm EST

When do I tell you the height I want?

At the end of the campaign, we’ll send a survey asking the height you want for your LEVIT8. If you have ordered more than one, it’s possible to specify different heights for each. Last updated: Wed, Nov 4 2015 12:01 pm EST

Is LEVIT8 stable?

Don’t worry, LEVIT8 is engineered to be even more stable as the weight of your laptops anchors it down. Thanks to the interactions between its 8 panels in its twisting arrangement. Last updated: Wed, Nov 4 2015 12:01 pm EST

What colours is LEVIT8 available in?

Currently, LEVIT8 is available in the Grey - Coral. But with enough support from backers, you would be able to choose among a variety of colour combinations in future! More than 5 15” Macbook Pros. That’s more than 23 lbs. LEVIT8 is definitely more than able to support your laptop. So it doesn’t matter if you’re using a Macbook, Samsung, Acer, Asus, Alienware, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Sony, Dell or Panasonic, and the list goes on. This looks like the Kada Stool from Fuseproject, is LEVIT8 original work?

LEVIT8 was inspired by an age old origami folding, known as the Box-Spiral folding technique. We chanced upon it while searching for collapsible structures from the book “Folding Techniques for Designers” by Paul Jackson. The similarities to the Kada Stool is purely due to the references from the same origami folding technique. We started out wanting to create a hard bookcover that transforms into a stable laptop stand. We believe that we have a different product, that was created for a different purpose. BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
